Course Impact

I have always enjoyed creative writing, however this course was nothing like creative writing. This course took me aback! Not only was it my first semester back as a student in over 10 years, it was also nothing short of an intense and grueling look at how to write college-level papers like I never knew existed! In the end, I am thankful that I took this course first, however, as it forced me to learn (and relearn…and learn again) the minute details of APA styling that I otherwise would have not known. This course prepared me for what was ahead in my academic career and as each week passed, our assignments and discussions strengthened my understanding of exactly what that was going to be.
