The Adult Learner

Course Impact

I consider this course the “kick-off” to my academic career at Siena even though it did not take place until my second semester. The Adult Learner outlined the expectations that the Professors would have for me moving forward, gave me a better footing within Canvas – the course management system, and caused me to think deeply about why I am here, right now. Through the use of SMART goals, I took time to memorialize what I was looking to accomplish in my education at Siena Heights. The essays and journals written this semester helped me to define who I was as a student, and further why I was that student. Much within this course will continue to be useful after graduation as well.
