Intercultural Communication

Course Impact

This course gave me the opportunity to learn more about intercultural communication, which is growing more important every day in professional settings as well as personal life. This world continues to become smaller despite population growth due to advancements such as the internet; businesses can conduct an international meeting all from their computer desk. I appreciated this course given that my personal borders have only ever expanded physically to the North American continent, yet my job has me interacting with many different cultures daily. Many of the topics brought up in this course and through discussion seemed like such simple concepts, yet it took this course to touch on topics that many of us do not think about daily, and probably should.
