My future is what I make it. If there is anything I have learned in the course of the past five years, I am in control of my own destiny. I know that may sound cliché, but it is the honest truth. My successes, as well as my failures, all relate back to the choices I make to move forward.
Steve Jobs once said “…you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever” (2005). I can finally say that I trust in me and I am confident that my future is bright!
